Dunn pul led off saves that

1-1 draw against Zone B leaders
Christian Pen. The leaders
entered the game on maximum
nine points from three games.
Black Lion were without a point
after two games.

Dunn appeared unbeatable but
Christian Pen’s relentless attack-
ing moves paid off when second-
half substitute Sheldon Sharpe
found the equaliser.
So brilliant was Dunn that he
was praised by Christian Pen’s
officials and supporters, one of
whom shouted, “Dat goalie a di
best in St Catherine.”
Dunn, a former Eltham High
School Manning Cup player, said
they had to make amends after a
poor start.
“We lost our first two games so
we decided to step up the train-
ing coming into this game.
“It has been a lot of hard work.
I was prepared to continue doing
my best and the team got its first
point,” he said.
Dunn believes that with more
hard work in training, Black
Lion, former national league
campaigners, can improve and
challenge for a semi-final spot in
the zone.
In the first game of the double-
header, New Raiders blanked
Watson Grove 3-0 in Zone B of
the LIME Divsion One.
Meanwhile, LIME provided
entertainment for fans with per-
formances from deejay Specialist
and others. The entertainers had
the crowd cheering wildly.
The LIME St Catherine Friday
Night footbal l continues on
December 7 with another double-
header at Prison Oval.
